Challenges facing our community include the size of our existing daycare that has one hundred and forty kids enrolled. the location of our preschool, the need to expand and modernize our library, our need for a wellness center for the entire community to use, a place to hold after school programs such as mentoring programs, 4-H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Kids Club, and a gym for youth and adults.

Working hand-in-hand with this vibrant community, we have come together to support the development of the Viking Center. It's not just a building. This facility will position our community to grow. The Viking Center will support early childhood education. The Viking Center will promote healthy lifestyles for youth and adults. The Viking Center will collaborate with the Stanton Community School in which students of all ages will utilize the state of the art community library. The Viking Center will truly make a difference in the lives of our children, our community and our future.
