On July 20, 2009, Ragbrai XXXVII rolled into Stanton. In a matter of hours, visitors to our town outnumbered the citizens of Stanton 20 to 1. It was an experience that many people will never forget. From young to old, everyone showcased our community. In just one morning, non-profits made nearly $13,000 for their organizations.

Stanton Friends partnered with Stanton Booster Club and Stanton Strivers 4-H group and was one of the non-profits that made over $1,500. We had the opportunity to meet hundreds of people from all different countries. It was a memorable experience to say the least.
